STORRS, Conn. — UConn women’s basketball standout Azzi Fudd will return for the 2025-26 season, she announced Tuesday via social media, confirming she will use her final year of eligibility.
The graduate guard has delivered her most complete season to date in 2024-25. Fudd is averaging 13.4 points per game, shooting 48.6% from the field, 45.3% from three-point range, and 92.6% from the free throw line. She has also recorded career highs in assists (53) and steals (36).
Fudd earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors and was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team this year.
In the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Fudd is averaging 22.5 points through two games while shooting 64.0% from the field, 64.3% from beyond the arc, and 100% at the line.
Her return provides a major boost to a UConn squad that continues its Final Four pursuit.
