WEST HARTFORD, CT — Work has officially begun on Level99, a large-scale social gaming venue set to open in late 2025 at the Corbin Collection in West Hartford.
The attraction will take over the 41,745-square-foot second floor of the long-vacant former Sears building at 1445 New Britain Avenue, marking the final phase of redevelopment for the property.

Construction fencing has been installed around the site’s entrance, located next to Crumbl Cookies, as both interior and exterior work gets underway.
This Connecticut debut will be the third Level99 in the U.S., following its locations in Natick, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island. Future openings are planned in Northern Virginia and Disney Springs in Florida.
Level99 will feature more than 50 team-based challenges designed to test players’ physical and mental agility. Teams of two to six players will face timed rooms requiring collaboration and problem-solving. Each game will blend interactive technology with real-world mechanics to create a unique social competition experience.
Stratford-based Two Roads Brewing Company will operate a full-service taproom and eatery within the venue, serving craft beverages and elevated pub fare to visitors.
The Level99 project represents the latest addition to the Corbin Collection, a redevelopment effort launched in 2016 to reimagine the former Sears site.
Other tenants include Saks Off Fifth, REI, World Market, BuyBuy BABY, Shake Shack, Club Pilates, Hartford HealthCare, and Tavern in the Square.
The venue’s location—one of the largest remaining vacant retail spaces in the region—had been unoccupied since Sears shuttered operations.
Level99 will bring a new type of entertainment to the area, drawing residents and regional visitors to West Hartford’s bustling shopping and dining hub.
A late 2025 opening is planned.
