East Hartford, CT — Want a say in how your tax dollars are spent? The Town of East Hartford is inviting residents to get involved in shaping the fiscal year 2025-26 budget through the upcoming workshops.
Starting soon, town leaders—including the Mayor and department heads—will present budget proposals at public meetings held in the Town Council Chambers.
Residents will have the chance to voice opinions and inputs on funding priorities that impact public services, education, infrastructure, and community programs.
The meetings are designed to be transparent and inclusive, with both in-person and call-in options available. Call-in details can be found on the public meeting calendar on the Town Council’s webpage.
The Mayor’s recommended budget book will be published online through the East Hartford Finance Department for review.
Updates will be added as the budget process progresses.
