Hartford, CT – Authorities are investigating a train derailment that occurred late night of Monday, Feb. 17 on 89 Weston Street.
Fire crews responded around 11:20 p.m. and found three cylinder train cars had derailed. Officials said the cars remained upright and undamaged.
Southern Railroad has been contacted to bring equipment for track repairs and removal of the cars, according to fire officials.
Amtrak representatives and police also responded.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
