SALISBURY, CT — A vehicle rollover on Route 44 near 246 Canaan Road disrupted traffic Saturday afternoon as emergency responders closed a stretch of the state highway to investigate the crash.
According to Connecticut State Police, the accident occurred in Salisbury, prompting a temporary shutdown of the roadway. Officials confirmed the driver sustained minor injuries.
State police said the incident was reported in the area of 246 Canaan Road. Responders arrived shortly after the call to find a vehicle overturned.
Authorities did not release additional details about the make or model of the vehicle or whether additional passengers were inside at the time of the crash.
Police said the injured individual was treated at the scene. The extent of the injuries was described as minor, and no hospital transport was noted in the initial release.
