HARTFORD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is inviting public input on Connecticut 2055, a 30-year transportation strategy aimed at reshaping infrastructure, mobility, and investment across the state.
“Connecticut 2055 will be a visionary plan for all transportation users in our state,” said CTDOT Commissioner Garrett Eucalitto.
“With Connecticut 2055, we will continue to prioritize safety, drive economic growth, increase mobility, connect communities, and enhance lives through a forward-thinking multimodal transportation system.”
CTDOT is opening a 45-day public comment window beginning April 9, 2025, and ending May 23, 2025.
Residents are encouraged to submit input via email to DOT.LongRangePlan@ct.gov, call 860-594-2020, or visit portal.ct.gov/LongRangeTransportation.
Two virtual public information meetings will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Both sessions will share the same content and include Q&A segments. Registration is required.
