STORRS, Conn. — UConn redshirt senior Paige Bueckers was named a finalist for the 2025 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Tuesday.
Bueckers leads the Huskies with 19.2 points and 4.8 assists per game. She owns a .542 field goal percentage, .411 from three, and .902 from the line, making her one of the most efficient guards in the country.
She leads the nation with a 3.9 assist-to-turnover ratio and has shined in high-pressure matchups, averaging 21.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists against ranked opponents.
Bueckers became the fastest player in UConn history to reach 2,000 points, doing so in her 102nd game. She is only the third Husky ever to tally 2,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 500 assists.
The 2021 Naismith winner and three-time BIG EAST Player of the Year is also a 2025 First Team All-American across The Athletic, AP, and USBWA.
