Bridgeport, CT – Bridgeport Public Schools will host three community forums, giving residents a chance to speak directly with Interim Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery. Parents, students, and others will have an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and offer feedback.
The meetings will take place at Charles F. Greene Homes on March 18, P.T. Barnum Housing on April 15, and Beardsley Terrace Housing on May 9. Each session will run from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Dr. Avery will answer questions and listen to the concerns of those impacted by school policies. The district urged residents to attend, stating, “Ask questions and share feedback directly to the interim superintendent.”
For families, educators, and concerned residents, the meetings serve as a rare chance to engage with leadership beyond written statements and policy updates. The district hopes the forums will be a step toward greater transparency and collaboration.
